ThyssenKrupp Steel and Stainless Steel is in the midst of constructing a new $4.2 Billion dollar steel manufacturing plant in Mobile Alabama and needed to purchase upwards of 27 enclosures for this state-of-the-art facility. With eight 24’x80’ Production Control Rooms alone, their needs were substantial. Working closely with Adam Frankland of Provincial Partitions, it was determined that by using System 40 enclosures, which would allow for rapid construction on-site as opposed to shipping completed units; the costs savings for transportation alone would be in excess of a million dollars.



With 27 units required, shipping costs for pre-constructed units totaling more than 34,000 square feet in completed enclosures would have been prohibitive. System 40™ knock down components (such as those illustrated in the photo at right) make shipping with standard transportation possible. A variety of enclosures are being provided: production control rooms, operator pulpits, at both the start and finish of the production lines, as well as motor control rooms encasing sophisticated robotics. The requirements are demanding and Provincial Partitions’ System 40™ components are more than up to the task.
